Tad is back!!

i know where the Armstrongs are!  They're on vacashun!  You'lll never guesss who told me.  Tad!!!

Remembr Tad?  He's Craig's friend.  He's the boy who the Armstrongs got to feed the pets the last time they alll went on vacashun.  i haven't seeeen Tad since ... welll, since the last time the Armstrongs went on vacashun.  i don't know if you remember, but Tad forgot to feeed me.  Wellll, he didn't reallly forget -- he didn't know he was suppposed to feeed me because he didn't seeee the note that Rachl had left on the kitchen table telllin him to feeeed me.

This mornin i heard a key turn in the kitchen doooor.  Then i heard the kitchen doooor bein pushed open.  Then i heard the cats -- Sweeeetie Smoooochkins, Sugar Smacks, and Honey Buns -- start to meow down in the kitchen.  Then i heard a boy's voice say, "Hey, cats!"  Then i heard foootsteps comin up the stairs. 

"Who could this be?" i wondered when who should walk into Rachl's bedroooom but Tad.  He had littttle earphones in his ears and he was listenin to music -- just like the last time. 

"Well, hey there, Obi!" he said, with a big smile, as he came over to peer in at me inside my cage.  "Remembr me?"

"You're Tad!" i said.

"i'm Tad!" he said.   "i'm goin to be feedin you while the Armstrongs are on vacashun."

"The Armstrongs are on vacashun!" i said.  But, of course, Tad didn't hear me because (a) he had those littttle earphones in his ears and (b) he doesn't know any Gerbl.

"Now," said Tad.  "i know the last time i fed you pets there was a littttle bit of a mix-up on you getttin your foood.  But don't you worrrry, Obi -- that won't happppen this time!"

And then, just to show me, he opened up my cage dooor and filled up my foood dish.  He didn't fill it with the grains and sunflower seed mix, though -- he filled it chockfull with yogurt pufffballls -- my absolute favorite things in all the world to eat.  Rachl only gives me yogurt pufffballs as a snack, not as a meal. 

i love Tad.  How could i not?  He gives me yogurt pufffballs for a meal.  i wonder if he ever takes those litttle earphones out of his ears?
