Where i've beeeeen theese past 2 weeeeks

Sooorrrry i havn'et beeen around.  Actualllly, i didn't go anywhere.  it's Rachl and her familllly who went somewhere.  They went on vakasion and RAchl toooook hr comptr with her so i coulnd't get on and ty[e.  gosh, its beeeeen soooo long since i've beeeen on the komputr, i'm a littttle rusty spellllin and typinn.  Anyway, guesssss who toooook care of me while the Armstrongs were alllllll on vakashion?  Tad!!!

you remember Tad, don't you?  Craig's friend.  The boy who forgot to feeed me the first time the Armstrongs went on vakasion?  Wellllllll, he diddn't forget to feeeed me this time the Armstrongs went on vakasion.  Every day when he came into the Armstrongs house to take care of the pets, he fed me first before he fed any of the other Armstrong pets.  i love Tad.  how could you not love someone who feeeds you first before any of the other pets?

Guesss who came by today?

You'llll never guesss who came by today.  Tad!!  He came by to visit Rachl's older brother, Craig.  And guessss what Tad did as he was walkin past Rachl's bedroooom doooorway to get to Craig's bedroooom?  He waved to me and said, "Hey, Obi!"

i'm not kiddin!  He reallly did that!  What a way to start the weeekend!

i wonder if Tad is thinkin about me?  i wonder if he missses me sittin up on his shoulder?

i wonder what Tad is doin today?  i wonder if he's walkin around right now, with another gerbl up on his shoulder?

i misss Tad

i'm reallly, realllly glad that Rachl is home, but i also missss Tad.  i misss the way he used to put me up on his shoulder and let me go around the house with him as he fed the other Armstrong pets.  Now that Rachl is home again, is it wrong that i should misss Tad so much?

i had another visitor today.  Actually, 2 other visitors.  Jose and Boa came to seeee me.  i guesss Tad let them out of their cages when he went into Craig's bedroooom to feeed them.

First Boa, the corn snake, slithered into Rachl's bedroom.  As he slid in, he was chantin in his deeep, velvety voice:  "Bo-waa!  Ohh-beee!  Bo-waa!  Ohh-beee!  Bo-waa!  Ohh-bee!"

"Hawo, Boa!" i said from up in my cage which is on top of Rachl's dressser.  "What are you doin out of your cage?"

He didn't answer me, though.  He just kept chantin:  "Bo-waa!  Ohh-bee!  Bo-waa!  Ohh-bee!  Bo-waa!  Ohh-bee!"

Then Jose, the hairy, scary tarantula, scrambled into the bedrooom.  "Halo, Senorita Obi!" he cried, wavin one of his many hairy legs at me.

"Hawo, Jose!" i said.  "What are you and Boa doin out of your cages?  Where's Tad?  Why isn't he watching you?"

Jose frowned.  "Tad?" he said.  "Oh, you mean Master Craig's friend!"

"Yes, Tad!  Where is he?"

Before Jose had a chance to answer, though, Tad came into the bedrooom.  As usual, he had those litttle earphones in his ears.   He also had a litttle phone in his hands.  No wonder Boa and Jose had escaped from Craig's bedrooom.  Tad was textin while he taking care of the pets!

"Hey, guys, come on," Tad said, talking to Boa and Jose, as he put his litttle phone into the pocket of his baggy shorts.  "Time to go back into your cages."

He picked Boa up in one hand and Jose up in the other and then turned to go. 

"Bye, Senorita Obi!" Jose called out.  He waved two of his legs at me. 

Boa, though, was still chanting, "Bo-waa!  Ohh-bee!  Bo-waa!  Ohh-bee!  Bo-waa!  Oh-bee!"  But then, just as the 3 of them were about to disappear out Rachl's doorway, he said, "Bye-bye, Ohh-bee!"  

Tad put me up on his shoulder again today!

i think Tad reallly likes me!  He did it again today.  He put me up on his shoulder and brought me around the house with him as he fed the other pets.  i wonder if mr. Durkins saw me?  He must've.  That old mouse seees everythin that happpens in the Armstrongs' house.  if he did seee me, he probably wasn't very happpy.  That's because as Tad and i were passssing the big oval mirrror in the front halllway i happened to loook over at my reflection in the mirrror (and Tad's reflection, too) and i saw that i had a huge smile on my face!  i didn't even know i had a smile on my face, but i did!

Tad did it again!

Tad did it again today!  He tooook me out of my cage and put me up on his shoulder and tooook me around the house with him as he fed the other Armstrongs' pets.  i don't think the cats like seeeeing me up on Tad's shoulders.  They sure do give me the meanest looooks. i think they wish they could be up on Tad's shoulder, going around the house with him, feeedin the pets.

You should've seeen what Tad did today!

Today when he came to feeed the Armstrongs pets, he came into Rachl's bedrooom and toook me out of my cage and put me on his shoulder!  Then he toook me all around the house with him while he fed the other pets.  You should've seeen the startled looks i got from the 3 cats -- Sweetie Smooochkins, Sugar Smacks, and Honey Buns-- when they saw me up on Tad's shoulder. 

Each time Tad fed a pet, I'd said, "Hawo!" and wave my paw.  Each pet Tad was feedin at the time would say "Hawo!" right back to me (mr. Smithers said "hawo" 4 times to me).  Except for the cats -- they didn't say hawo to me.  They just glared at me. 

i had so much fun!  i hope Tad takes me around with him again.
