First day of skoool!

Rachl went back to skooool today!  She and mrs. Armstrong went out to the store yesterday and bought Rachl a new blue backpack just for the big occassssion.  

Allll of the Armstrong children are back in skooool.  it sure is quiet in the house.  i forgot how quiet it gets when all of the Armstrong kids are offff to skoool.  it's kind of lonely.

Homework

Rachl wasn't in a very goooood mooood last night.  That's because she had homework to do.  First day of skooool and she got homework. 

"i can't believe i got homework!" she kept sayin to no one in particular as she sat down at her desk to do her homework. 

i wouldn't be very happppy, either, if i got homework to do on the first day of skooool.  But then why would i get homework?  i'm a gerbil.  i don't even go to skoool.  i guesss that's one gooood thing about bein a gerbil -- you don't get homework.

Back to skooool!!!

i know why Rachl got alll that skooool stufff the other day.  it's because she's goin back to skooool.  in fact, today is her first day back at skooool! 

it feeels strange not havin Rachl around.  i miss her not bein around durin the day.  i wonder if she missses me?

The twins are back at skooool, too.  (The human twins, that is, not the goldfish twins.)  So is Rachl's older brother, Craig.  The whole house feeeels unusually empty and quiet without the Armstrong kids around.

i don't like it.  i wonder when skooool gets out again?
