Okay, i think I may be wrong

i've been thinkin and, well, i think I may be wrong about what happend the other night when the Armstrongs got so excited.  I dont think it was beecause of somethin a gerbl did. 

i mean, think about it.  If a gerbl had done somethin really amazin, dont you think Rachl would've taken me out of my cage and brought me downstairs to watch TV so I could seee it, too?  I mean, after all, I am a gerbil! 

Yes, of course she would!  My adopted mother would've pointd to the TV and said, "Look, Obe!  What an amazin gerbil!"

So thats why I think it wasn't somethin a gerbl did that got the Armstrongs so exxcitd the other night.

An historic occashun

i dont know what happned last night but whatever it was it sure made all of the Armstrongs very excitd.  I've never seen them so excited.  well, i didn't actually see them.  They were all downstairs watchin TV.  but I could hear them.  even Craig was downstairs watchin TV and he never hangs out and watches TV with his family.  

When Rachl came upstairs to go to bed, mr. Armstrong came upstairs, too.  Oh, good, I thought, Mr. armstrong is goin to read Rachl a bedtime story now.  But he didnt.  He just put her to bed.  He told her they were goin to skip reeading tonight because he wanted to go downstairs and continue watchin TV.  Skip it!?  Doesn't mr. Armstrong know how much i look forward to hearing him read to Rachl before she goes to bed at night?

"It's an historic occashun!" Mr. Armstrong said to Rachl as he tucked her into bed.  "you'll probably remember this night for the rest of your life."

i wonder what could've happened?  Oh, my gerbil!!!  I just thought of somethin!  You don't think--no, it couldn't be!--but mrr. Armstrong did say it was a historic occashun... OMG, could it be a gerbil did something really important and that's why the Armstrongs were so excited last night?

Elekshun Day

can't type today!  Rachl is home!  her skool is closed!  Somethin about elekshun day! Craig is home, too.  so are Betsy and Susie -- the human Betsy and Susie, that is, not the goldfish.  Well, the goldfish betsy and Susie are home, too, but theyre always home.  i think mrs. Armstrong may even be home.  not sure.  Wait!  what's that I hear?  footsteps comin up the stairs.  Human foosteps!  could be Rachl!  Can't let her seee me out of my cage!  gotta go!

The big debate

whoa, that was a close call yestrday! 

You know those cat feet I herd?  well, it was the tiger cat, Sugar Smacks.  well, actually, it was Sugr Smacks followd by the black and white cat, Sweeetie Smooochkins, followd by the honey colord cat, Honey Buns. 

when I heard the cats comin up the stairs, I jumpd off the computr keybord, ran acrosss Rachl’s desk, grabbed hold of the electrical cord to the pencil sharpenr that’s also on Rachl’s desk, slid down the cord to the floore, raced across the carpet to the side of Rachel’s dresser, grabbed the lamp cord that hangs down along the side of the dresser, and, with all four paws, climbd up the cord to the top of the dresser.  I then zipped across the dressr, past Rachel’s hairbrush, to my cage.  i pulled myself up into the little square openin of the cage, and plopped down into my cage, onto the cedar shavngs, slammin the cage door shut with the end of my tail.  i then whirled about just as Sugar Smacks, Sweeetie Smooochkins, and honey buns walked into Rachl’s bedrooom.  the threee cats came over and leaped up onto the dressser and peered in at me through the bars on the front of my cage. 

“Oh, hawo, Sugr Smacks, Sweetie Smooochkins, and Honey Buuns!” i said.  “What brings you here today?”
