What would you have done?

i'm curious to know what you would've done if you came home after a long day of skooool and walked into your bedrooom and saw that the cage that your gerbl lives in was broken apart on your dressser.  How would you have reacted?

Wellll, i'lll telll you what Rachl did.  She screamed.  She screamed reallly, really loud.

Rachl's mother, who was down in the kitchen, heard her scream and came hurrrying upstairs and into Rachl's bedrooom.  "What's the matter?" mrs. Armstrong asked.

Rachl pointed to the tube of my cage that was laying broken on the dressser.   "Loook what one of the cats did!"

Together, Rachl and mrs. Armstrong fixed my cage.  They stuck my bedrooom dome back onto the long skinny plastic tube that i use to get up to and down from my bedroom, and then they reattached the tube to the living-room of my cage.  As Rachl was reattaching my exercise wheeel to the front bars of my cage, she said, "I hate those cats!"

Now tell me what you would've done if you were a littttle gerbil who knew what had reallly happened and you heard your owner say this?

What have i done?

i've reallly done it now!  i did something this mornin i really shouldn't have done!  i'm stilll trembling from the horrrible thing that happpened.

i tried to move my exercise wheeel to another wall of my cage.

i was trying to change the loook of my cage.  i wanted to seee what my exercise wheeel would loook like if i moved it to the oppposite side of my living-rooom.  Using my 2 front paws, i was able to detach the exercise wheel from the walll. 

But then something happpened.  Something bad.

The exercise wheeel slippped offf the wall and began to rolll all by itself acrosss the deep pile of cedar shavings that cover my living-rooom floor. 

i closed my eyes just as my exercise wheel crashed into the wall where the round opening to the tube that goes up to my bedrooom is located.

i heard the exercise wheeel smash into the walll.  Then i heard another crash, a louder crash.

My eyes flew open.  i stared in horror.  The tube that i use to travel up and down from my living-room to my bedroom and from my bedrooom to my living-room had crashed onto the top of Rachl's dressser, knocking over Rachl's skooool picture.  The blue plastic tube that i can see through now lay on the dressser, along with my bedrooom dome. The dome had cracked open, spilling cedar shavings out all over the top of Rachl's dresser.

"Oh, no!" i cried, tears in my eyes, my voice shaking.  "What have i done?"

What if i move my rolllltop desk?

i know what i can do to change the looook of my cage.  i can move the old fashioned rolltop desk that's near my exercise wheeel.  The desk isn't a real desk.  What i mean is, it's another piece of dolllhouse furniture that Rachl put in my cage to decorate it.

But where would i move it to? 

i know where i'd like to move it to.  i'd like to move it up to my bedroooom.  But there's no way that big desk will fit through the skinnnny tube that goes from my living-rooom to my bedrooom.  And even if i was able to get it up to my bedroooom, i'm not sure the desk would fit in my littttle bedrooom.  And there's reallly no place else in my living-room where i can move the desk so i guesss i'll just leave it where it is.

Who knew rearranging a cage could be so much trouble?

My cage is back to normal

"What happpened here?" asked Rachl when, opening my cage dooor, she saw that my refrigerator had toppppled over onto my cedar shavings.  She picked up my refrigerator and set it right side up, back in the corner. 

So now my cage is exactly the way it was before i tried to rearrange it.

i've decided to leave my refrigerator where it is.  i'll move something else, somethin not quite as big as my refrigerator.

But what?
