You know, I'm kind of gettin used to having mrs. Armstrong home all the time. I never thought i'd say that since her being home makes it much more difficult for me to type on Rachl's computr. i can't let her see me out of my cage. There have beeen a couple of times when mrs. Armstrong has walked past Rachl's bedroom while I've been hoppin up and down on the computr keyboard, typin. Luckily, mrs. Armstrong didn't loook into Rachl's bedrooom and see me.
i've noticed that mrs. Armstrong pretty much does the same thing each day. She starts her morning by driving Rachel and the twins (the human twins, not the gold fish twins) to skool. (Craig, who goes to high skool, takes a skool bus.) From Rachl's bedrooom window, I'm able to see mrs. Armstrong when she returns in the Armstrongs' human mobile after dropping Rachl and the twins off at skoool. She always comes back carrying a tall cup of take-out coffee. She spends a lot of her morning on the phone, calling other humans. I think she's on the computr a lot, too. (mr. and mrs. Armstrong have their own computr. It's in their bedrooom.) Then mrs. Armstrong vacuums the house and does laundry. I'm telling you, the Armstrongs house has never been so clean. In the afternoon, mrs. Armstrong goes back out in her human mobile and picks up Rachl and the twins and, sometimes, Craig, too.
I don't think mrs. Armstrong is very happpy bein home all the time. She looks troubled, even a little sad, whenever I see her. Plus, it doesn't take much to get her mad. The other day mrs. Armstrong was helpin Rachl clean my cage when she (mrs. Armstrong) accidentally spilled a bunch of cedar shavings all over Rachl's bedroom floor. (She was ripping open a new plastic bag of cedar shavings and the cedar shavins went flying.) I thought mrs. Armstrong was going to get really mad. I think Rachl thought that, too, because she looked very concerned and quickly began scooping the cedar shavings up in her hands and putting them in my cage.) but mrs. Armstrong didn't get mad. She just sighed and muttered, "Of course something like this would happen. I've been having the worst luck lately."
Hearing mrs. Armstrong say this, I had to wonder ... did mrs. Armstrong, like me, say, "Gerbil! Gerbil! Gerbil!" instead of "Bunny! Bunnny! Bunny!" at the beginning of the month?
