kolumbus day

Can't tyyype long. 

Rachl is home today.  All the Armstrong kids are home today.  Not sure why.  Somethin about kolumbus day. 

Who is this kolumbus and why does he have his own special day and why is skooool closed on his special day? 

Was Kolumbus a gerbil?

Okay, I'm pretty sure Kolumbus was not a gerbil.

The reason I think this is because when Rachl was off from skool yestrday (because it was Kolumbus day), she and the rest of the Armstrongs took a train into someplace called New York City to see a kolumbus day parade.  (Rachl and her family live in New Kanaan, Konnecticut, which, I guess, is near New York City, which, i guess, is a city.)
