Boa

The flicker didn't show up this mornin.  This is the second mornin he hasn't shown up at the crack of dawn to bang his pointy beak on the Armstrongs' round metal satelllite antennna that's on the side of their house, just above Rachl's bedrooom window.  You don't think he's stayin away because he thinks i'm a criminal, do you? 

Hey, you know that boook i found yesterday?  The one that has information about all sorts of creatures?  Welll, it also has somethin about Boa.  Boa is a corn snake.  it says he has a small head with a red stripe across the forehead and that he lives in woods, woooood edges, corn fields, and roadsides, and that he's basicallly a ground snake but can climb.  

it also says he makes a goood pet.  i wonder if Boa knows that?  i'm going to have to telll him the next time i seee him.
